Cold rolled steel sheets hot dipped galvanised

Due to the fact that carbon steel is highly prone to corrosion, the steel sheets and strips are protected by a continual hot dip galvanising process, using Zinc (Zn), Zinc-Iron alloy (ZF), Zinc-Aluminium alloy (ZA), Aluminium-Zinc alloy (AZ) or Aluminium-Silicium alloy (AS).

Application: Each of this alloy type is used for a different application depending on the properties of coating; e.g. they are used in structural engineering for the production of metal structures, traffic signs or industrial furnaces, heating equipment and firebreak doors. At home appliances they are manufactured for washing machines, dryers, fridges and microwave ovens.
