The price drop we have been facing since the end of last year has stopped. Steel producers, hit by high prices of energy and other inputs, are no longer willing or able to further price reduction and prefer to cut down parts of production rather than confirm unprofitable orders. The price offers for the upcoming period are slightly higher than the prices at which steel was sold at the end of July. It looks like steel is the first commodity which hit a price bottom and we expect similar developments for other commodities in the coming months.
